2024 Inviting Serendipity..
Thank you to everyone who has been to our events, it’s been an honour.. however times for Sacred Sounds, they are a changing! Nothing stays the same.
You may have noticed we cancelled a lot of events in the second half of 2023 and no longer offer wellness treatments, and our popular Beach Retreats Why? Life changed unexpectedly.
Family is a huge priority for us, and when an elderly relative needed major surgery we moved in to help and to be there.
On top of that we had huge work responsibilities, a long commute to the rehab hospital, and the emotional side of adjusting to change and acceptance. Part of this has meant we needed to cancel events, sometimes at the last minute.
Times like these have reminded us life is not just about schedules and productivity, it's about connections, shared moments and tuning into what you and your loved ones need on a deep level.
Every year we issue an annual list of singing bowl dates, and other events. How can we commit to regular set times and dates when that isn’t possible right now for a range of reasons. And, when we tuned into our needs, we realised we needed downtime in 2024 to rest, flow with nature etc before we could give to the community, as they say, you can't give from an empty cup.
What fills us with joy? Have you asked yourself this question lately? For us, its doing simple things, browsing the garden centre, creative time, exploring the countryside, taking drives, listening to meditations, writing, singing, walking along mountain ridges, going for random swims at new beaches and not having ourselves tied to a schedule.
Anyway, thanks for still reading, getting to the point, our brain was boggling thinking how can we keep offering our beautiful free community singing bowls meditations that we love so much without a set planned in advance schedule . What's the solution? We decided to invite more serendipity to our events. Serendipity is defined as the faculty of making happy and unexpected discoveries by accident or events which happen when we begin to “dip” into life with “serenity.”
How will it work? When we are feeling fully charged we’ll go and set up the singing bowls in a park, beach or private location we've been given permission to use, and if you are on our list, you'll receive a text an hour or so before we are ready to start, inviting you to join us there.

We’d like to say maybe this will be the year we get organised with video and audio equipment to record and stream our live events to YouTube/ Social Media, heck maybe we’ll do it anyway. Less stress, less structured activities and more serendipity.. that’s our plan for 2024, what’s yours?
Our new approach opens up a heap of different locations with the crystal singing bowls. It's going to be exciting, fun and very serendipitous. Join us, you'll be very welcomed.
